For this month, I have decided that I need to get myself grounded into a real routine and then fit my yoga routine into that schedule. My first goal toward getting myself more organized is meal planning. I want to plan our meals for each week ahead of time. This way, I can get specific items needed for each menu item. Too often I go to the grocery store and spend more than I need to or come up short of an ingredient. I have a habit of being very spontaneous about everything. (Can you be habitually spontaneous?) My spontaneity drives my husband crazy. :) Too much routine makes me feel constricted.
So, I do think meal planning is a great start. At least the grocery bill will be more controlled and we'll know what's for dinner from day to day. The other challenge in this is the fact that I am following a vegetarian diet and Hubby is not. My first task is to figure out how to accommodate both of us. I wonder if he would notice if I substituted my new veggie crumbles for ground beef in spaghetti sauce? Hmm...
