Day 31 - Hooray! What a GREAT experience!

I had hatha class today. Thirty-one days in a row! Thanks so much Yogamum for starting this great challenge. I'll be back in February. Over the past few days I've been thinking about the benefits I've noticed from practicing everyday. It is laaatteee, but I'll try to remember a few.

1. Better body alignment overall

2. My right hip is really opening up.. really, really! It's always been so tight and crampy.

3. Getting MUCH deeper into poses

4. Stronger arms (grrrrrr!)

5. Better core strength

6. Making friends with down dog (at last!)

7. Lilalia's cool collages

And of course...

8. Being inspired by so many wonderful folks!

Thanks to everyone for their comments and encouragement. I've been unable to reply everyday to the interesting and kind things you've said. Here's to another month of yoga!

Namaste.

ps - The photo isn't my favorite, but I like it because it shows that back foot that is always grounded in the standing poses. The foot that's taking the big heat and supporting the whole show. That's how I think of feet - the part of our body that gets little attention but plays such a vital role in our lives moment to moment.
