Practice and all is coming -- Sri K. Pattabhi Jois

I've not practices asanas the past couple days due to Ladies Holiday but have been stretching throughout the day and mindful each night before going to sleep. Yesterday I had a dentist appointment and practiced meditation and breathing the entire time. Well, that and some Soduku. It ended up being a two hour appointment. Today either full practice or exercise walk and 5A's and 5B's.

Did you need anything other than meditation to get through the dental appointment? My present meditative ability would never carry me through a visit with a dentist. So good luck and I hope your dental needs will soon be over for the foreseeable future!

I went to the dentist to have a crown done and when he was doing the molding, he suggested a certain way of breathing so that I wouldn't gag on the goopy stuff. I forget how he explained it, but I did ujayyi breathing and it worked!

Did that meditation practice help with the dentist appointment? Hopefully, a good part of the two hour appointment was just waiting and not the whole time in the chair.
