Practice and all is coming -- Sri K. Pattabhi Jois

The snow finally arrived, we woke to a white world north of the capital, just to prove how cold it is, I took a picture of the Swans having to break the ice for the Ducks on the canal near where I work. Around 65% of the workforce didn't show up today and the 35% of us who did complained all day about the injustice, they gave in at 3pm and told us to go home as more snow arrived. So I got home and decided to take advantage of the time to do a full Primary series. It was nice to have the time on a weekday to do the postures, add in the extra backbend work and have a decent Savasana before dinner. I wonder if they would permanently let me finish at 3!

Those Ducks and Swans know where to come, lots of people give them bits of sandwich at lunchtimes, its funny watching the geese try and land on the ice.
I have a feeling they wont go for the 3pm plan!

I am constantly amazed that animals actually survive out there ... but at least you got an early day out of it. I like the idea of finishing at 3 everyday!
