...and inspiration from other yogi(ni)s here at WoYoPracMo have helped me to practice several days in a row! My baby boy does not sleep very long before lunch so my practice usually has to be rather quick which is ok. I do not like to practice at home in the evening so I prefer a quick practice sometime in the morning before lunch.

I have no great plans for February more than trying to practice the First Series upto Navasana a couple of times per week or as often as I can. My ambition is that when I am on the mat to try to stay as focused as possible and to stay with my breath.

Well, this last week has been great! I felt a bit sad during Monday and realised that I needed to do something for myself on my own since I have not been by myself the last couple of months. So when my husband came Tuesday evening I jumped into the car and drove to the yoga shala where I practice in Copenhagen. It was so lovely. The shala was warm. Not too many people. I decided to go slow.

When I decieded I did not have to do any yoga at all (letting go), there was suddenly time AND energy to do some Surya Namaskaras as well as the standing poses in the First Series yesterday.

I have not been mentally and physically ready to start my yoga practice. I have been too tired and when I have had some time over just for me I have had to choose between sleep, rest, yoga practice, reading, talking to friends, or just be - I have most of the time chosen to sleep/rest since I have not slept a full night in months time....sleep is necessary to survive and not go insane..
