Wow vad kul!! Jag bodde i Malmö förr (nu bor jag i Hjärup) och letade efter något ashtangaställe där, men hittade inget bra, tyvärr. Du tränar i Köpenhamn alltså!

Yeah!!! So who are you? Och var tränar du? Jag går mest på Yogashala men ibland till Gittan och Yogayama.
I Stockholm, alltså.

Yogini hi! I do love your blog, but my Swedish is very poor so I've been enjoying the pictures mostly. Hope baby gets on a good nocturnal schedule soon!

About Me:
Last years NaYoPracMo gave a kick start to the new year and this year I think WoYoPracMo will help me get back to my practice.
I have recently given birth to a baby boy, so I am in the "4th trimester" which means I will do restorative yoga for about 10 minutes a day with focus on uddiyana bandha, mula bandha and the breath. As my body gets stronger and my son will let me...I will increase the length of my practice time.

More energy...

...and inspiration from other yogi(ni)s here at WoYoPracMo have helped me to practice several days in a row! My baby boy does not sleep very long before lunch so my practice usually has to be rather quick which is ok. I do not like to practice at home in the evening so I prefer a quick practice sometime in the morning before lunch.

These last couple of days I have mostly practiced the standing asanas. If my son lets me (i.e. if he is still sleeping) I keep practing upto Navasana. I usu

February 2008

I have no great plans for February more than trying to practice the First Series upto Navasana a couple of times per week or as often as I can. My ambition is that when I am on the mat to try to stay as focused as possible and to stay with my breath.

January 31

Well, this last week has been great! I felt a bit sad during Monday and realised that I needed to do something for myself on my own since I have not been by myself the last couple of months. So when my husband came Tuesday evening I jumped into the car and drove to the yoga shala where I practice in Copenhagen. It was so lovely. The shala was warm. Not too many people. I decided to go slow.

I did the First Series upto Navasana. I skipped vinyasas between sides but did them between asan

Letting go...isn't that yoga too?

When I decieded I did not have to do any yoga at all (letting go), there was suddenly time AND energy to do some Surya Namaskaras as well as the standing poses in the First Series yesterday.

I think, thanks to your comments, I feel very much a part of this web-based yoga community even though I do not practice regurlarly right now. Everything has its time and I am really ok with it! I did not think I would (if you had asked me a month ago) be but I guess my son has made me see things i

Not ready..

I have not been mentally and physically ready to start my yoga practice. I have been too tired and when I have had some time over just for me I have had to choose between sleep, rest, yoga practice, reading, talking to friends, or just be - I have most of the time chosen to sleep/rest since I have not slept a full night in months time....sleep is necessary to survive and not go insane..

Anyway it is ok. I have my whole life to practice yoga and these first months with my baby boy (who
