Hello Shrijnana. How is the practice going? I've got two little ones (my babies are now 6 and 8!!) Like you my focus is more on meditation, I also immediately loved Ashtanga, but I've decided it's a little too hard core for me, I kept hurting myself, so I'm doing gentler vinyasas.
Your daughter is adorable!!

Hi again Shrijnana! I think *any* practice when you have a baby is a huge accomplishment!

About Me:
I've been meditating for 20 years, and doing yoga off and on for that time, mostly Iyengar. Five years ago I discovered Asthanga yoga and loved it immediately. I try to practice several times a week, although now that I have a baby it is difficult to find the time and space.

Kicking it up a notch

This theme is exactly what I need! I practice alone most of the time, so I can get a little, not quite lazy... but not challenging myself as much as I could. That means not doing as many vinyasas as I would if I were in a class, or holding poses for as long. So stepping things up means not letting myself follow the path of least resistance and practicing as intensely as if I were surrounded by the most dedicated yogis and yoginis.
