It's my day alone. Mark is usually at work and band practice at night. I never teach group classes just privates. I usually sleep in and then sit for pranayama, japa, mediation. I try not to leave my house or only go as far as I can walk on Monday's, unless I go take Charly's class. It's the one day a week I like to make everything as simple as possible. Today I contemplated and planned my classes before I sat. On mornings that I teach I find it hard to still my mind and not go into to "plan a yoga class" mode. I'm not kidding I wake up in the morning and my mind hits the ground running on what I will share in class that day before I'm even fully awake. I got a little behind. I will try not to do this so often as now Thursday practice isn't so fresh so I will just breeze through Thursday and Friday descriptions as today's experiences are much fresher and juicer.

I did not practice asana yesterday. Did a short pranayama and then just enjoyed my day off. Some days, very few, my personal sadhana does not include any meditation or asana. I went to see my Ayurvedea/Acupunturist, vistied with Lisa and baby Zia, went for a nice long walk with Mark and the dogs, ate good healthy food and had a good nights rest.
