Thanks for the comment! 70 minutes probably sounds like a lot but I do absolutely no other physical activity this time of the year........none! I hate the cold, rain, wind and all that other good stuff;) so it's inside exercise or none at all. Oh, and gyms scare the bejeesus out of me so thats out too...

Hey Kirsten, I just noticed you live in Oklahoma. I'm actually from Tulsa, lived there all my life until just 2 1/2 years ago when I moved to Austin. Still go back regurlary to visit family and friends. Where do you live/practice?

Wow. I kept intending to update and the month just got away from me.

First off, I want to publicly thank LotusYogini for the wonderful eye pillow and mat bag, won in the drawing. Thank you!!! My practices have ranged from 18-32 minutes over the last week and I'm starting to incorporate standing and balance poses on a somewhat regular basis. As my stamina slowly returns, my desire to do more than forward bends and twists also returns. Given the current pace, I'm thinking it might be reasonable to attempt a class around the end of March. As much as I generally prefer to practice at home, I'm also looking forward to having the occasional class be an option again.

28th: 15 minutes of yin.

29th: Almost fell off the wagon here. Got on the mat an then just couldn't find the oomph to actually do anything. Instead, did a 10 minute meditation.

30th: 20 minutes of yin.

31st: A strong 40 minutes, including triangle and half moon (against the wall), neither of which I've attempted in months. Both felt really, incredibly good… Continue

23 through 26

Friday morning I got in a really lovely, 30-minute yin practice, which it turned out was a Very Good Thing because the rest of the day was crazy, culminating in helping my mom babysit my niece (3 1/2) and nephew (20 months). Good thing there was the both of us, cuz they're two very energetic tiny tots!

Was draggy Saturday morning--didn't wake up until 8:20, which is late for me--and only got in 12 minutes before heading off on a round of errands and antiquing.

16 through 22

Wow. I hadn't realized it had been an entire week since I last posted. Oops. Anyway, the weekend was nice and relaxing, which was great because the week has been a whirlwind!

16th: 22 minutes
17th: 23 minutes with three sun salutations (the most I've done in one go in many months)
18th: 21 minutes with three sun salutations (yay!)
19th: 31 minutes
20th: 14 minutes of yin(start of lady's holiday)
21st: 13 minutes of yin
22nd: 14 minutes of yin
