I look forward to hear about your yoga class in january.

Are you going to try some postnatal classes with Audrey? it can be a lot of fun with all the babies and mums. I had some when I was in Montreal and the best moment for the babies was the OM chanting. They all stopped crying (if some were crying) and it's like we could feel the peace in the room. Beautiful.

Success, and failure

Ok, so I failed. I didn't practice 31 days in January. Only 30. I completely forgot to practice on January 30. Went out to diner with a friend, came home at midnight, Audrey's bottles needed to be washed and milk to be prepared, and by the time I was done, I was so exhausted. Forgot to do even a short meditation. Bah.

But on the other hand, I think January was a BIG success for me, in that I managed to get my practice back. Even with a 4-month baby, I was able to get back to 3, sometime… Continue

Been too busy to write...

But I am still, still on.

I've been doing more extra long meditations and yoga nidras than I originally planned, but I still get to an average of 4 yoga classes a week, so I think my practice is doing very well nevertheless!

About mommy and baby yoga: I didn't expect to like it so much, but as a yoga teacher, I thought it was silly to pass on the opportunity of trying. And it turns out that I really like it. Of course, it's not as challenging as most yoga classes, but then agai… Continue

Halfway!

We're halfway into the month now and I'm still going strong. I'm so proud of myself! Alright, my practices are not the most vigorous ever. Most days, I end up practicing very late at night, somewhere between 22.00 and midnight. For three of these practices, it was so late that I ended up doing an extra long meditation, or yoga nidra. But it's still yoga practice to me.

My Tuesday morning class hasn't opened yet. Not enough students registered yet. But I'm not giving up hope! And I'm al… Continue

I'm still in the game!

Been too busy to post, but WoYoPracMo is still on!

Most of my practices have been short ones, sticking to my goal of 10 minutes of meditation and 10 minutes of asanas every day.

On Thursday night, I went to YM for the new class, YogaLab. We had no idea what to expect, but now we have a better idea of what we got ourselves into. One word to describe the class: OUCH! We did inversions as "warm ups" (uh... ok...). Started with arm balance. I was like WHAT??? I haven't done any i… Continue
