Well, I lost any momentum here, not with practicing as that is firmly established but with writing about it. Anyhow- life is full- its a good problem to have.
I see that February is a "goal month" and interestingly enough I have been working a lot on Maricyasana 4 (or Maricyasna D, to the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yogi's.) It is coming along nicely. I can clasp now so long as I am sitting on one blanket. Not going to rush it though- seems like my knees will revolt sooner than my hips will open.

In the tent still. Worked on some garudasana and gomkhasana variations to teach in class tonight. Lots of hip work.

Forgot to post yesterday but my practice today and yesterday were pretty much identical. I started my day as usual with pranayama, japa and meditation. And since I am "in the tent" so I did the Iyengar Menstrual Series.
I am spending a lot of time writing on a new book which ins ome ways feels like a pracitce of svadhyaya. At any rate, I will try to keep up with my posting.

Meditation 30 minutes
puja, arati, etc.
Today was mellow asana because we did sucha strong pracitce and anyday my cycle will begin. Supta pandagusthasana 1-4 with weigth on my bottom leg, supta virasana with weight, sirsasana and cycle, sarvangasana and cycle, savasana
