It was a hard leap but I made Thursday's practice an experimental shavasana session. I sat for about 20 inutes first, because it seemed like the thing to do. Then I laid down for 70 minutes. I have to say, shavasana becomes an enterprise all its own when I spend so much time at it. 30 minutes is my usual max at AYS, though 20 minutes is more common for me.
The hardest part of the whole thing was convincing myself that I can lay down and go straight to work without doing the usual serie

I have only one more day to go to complete WoYoPracJan but I think I'll delay my much needed break until Saturday. As jangly as I feel, I'm making serious headway and it's all because I've kept at the daily pace.
I stopped my practice after baddha konasana today without doing the finishers. I did absolutely no wind-downs or inversions but I had a lengthy savasana instead. My hips feel pretty well buzzed from all the recent work. The feeling is neither pleasant nor unpleasant during my

Great practice today. Simply great. I realize now, by keeping track of my daily practice through WoYoPracMo, that I only have a few 'great' practices per month. I have to think this through and figure out how I might extend these experiences through more days.
I love these practices when, even though nothing is quite perfect, everything goes well and I feel well beyond where I was before.
