Globie: A copy of "Backpacker" family card game, goes to PutMoo
The requirements to qualify for a prize are: practice yoga every day in January (minimum ten minutes, or follow traditional moon day/ladies' holiday observances) and record it in some way on your personal blog or your Ning page, or email me to say "I did it! That's just so we have a way to verify -- obviously, this is according to the honor system! Yogis don't cheat! Satya and asteya, right? After Jan. 31, I'll draw names using a random number generator (or perhaps a small child pulling names from a hat) from all of our group members and then the donors will mail the prizes directly to the winners!
I would love to have several more prizes to offer, if anyone is inclined to donate!
Its so funny, I was going to donate an eye pillow and had the whole thing written out (including organic lavender) and then I looked down and saw that Cristel already has that covered (You go girl!). So, I'm in for donating a piece of my art.
Sorry Sarah;-) but a piece of your art sounds great too. I checked your portfolio and it's beautiful!
You know it is funny because I was about to change my page appearance for the San Francisco one and ... you've got it!
Are you in the bay area or a SF lover?
Cristel, I used to live in San Jose but would spend every ounce of my free time traveling to The City up the coast from Santa Cruz and 17 to Highway 1. I was an adventurous 18 year old girl and met many interesting and amazing people in SF (especially in the Haight/Ash. district). I don't live in the Bay anymore but it always occupies a special piece of the land in my heart cave. Also, I tend to set my creative writing assignments in SF. Its magickal!
P.s. Thank you for saying nice things about my art. Can't wait to be entered in to the drawing to win your eye pillow! A girl can never have enough eye pillows.
That DOES sound great YogaDawg. Man, whoever wins is going to make out like a bandit! Is there only one winner or do several people get to win this groovy stuff?
Prizes will be one per winner and everyone who successfully completes the challenge will be eligible! If people are donating more than one thing, the donor can decide if it should go to one or more people.
I would love to donate some Talavera pottery from Mexico (not very Yogish, I know) if you're interested. The only glitch would be that it would have to wait until March/April when my sister returns from a visit to get it up there or June/July when we come back to the US to send it to the winner. Sending stuff MexiPost usually does not arrive and FedEx or DHL or UPS are incredibly expensive.
Kit - better yet, get some more of those beautiful shoulder bags - large & small from the folks that were hit so hard by hurricane dean. I'll go in with you on them if yogamum wants to wait for them. I think they'd appeal to yoginis and they're much easier to mail. love, c
